a really close friend of mine passed away close to new years, and i haven't really been able to shake that feeling... i was in a very dark place around that time, and I thought moving to the city would help, and it has in ways... but even having found love in a partner, and putting a band together again, I still struggle almost every single day with depression, anxiety, mania, and suicidal thoughts... Tonight i've come to the conclusion that life has given us humans 2 great gifts, one of which is Death... and the other... is love... and I like to think that the fact that I'm still alive speaks to the fact that Love makes a difference, but it has created a conflict inside of me which now begs me not to take my own life & to instead pick up the pieces, but there are so many pieces, I often feel surrounded, no less, imprisoned by the disorder which my former self has imposed upon me, but I've been thinking that maybe some people were never meant to be okay, and maybe i'm okay with being me... but it's hard finding out, who we really are... underneath it all.

rest in peace Tyron Saunders.
